Who even is she?
Camila Justus is a multimedia artist based in Fort Worth. She began believing in her artistic abilities after working for her school newspaper at St. Mary's University in San Antonio where she was swayed from her original career path of criminology. She then transferred to the University of North Texas where she pursued a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Art and Design with a minor in advertising.

Today she is not set on a specific medium; her work ranges from repurposing old VHS tapes to painting canvases to sculpting clay. She enjoys adding 3D elements to her pieces and adding backings to make her art three-dimensional. Her love for the unexpected urges her to adorn her work with lace, trinkets, and beautiful fabrics even if the meanings of the pieces are deep and at times even relay past trauma.

Her work tackles themes such as the complexity of interpersonal relationships, the hardships of growing up, experiencing change, the negative aspects of love, and how she's navigated life. Her brief background in journalism explains her very emotional take on art.
